Haft Sin Series [4 weeks]

Make your own custom ceramic Haft Sin set in this unique 4-week handbuilding series, only available at POT.

A Haft Sin is the traditional table setting for the Iranian New Year (Nowruz) and is a central part of the celebration. The term "Haft Sin" means "Seven S's," referring to seven items that go on the table and each begin with the Persian letter 'S'. Students will learn about these items and their cultural symbolism. 

Focus on design, planning, and execution of a custom set based on your own style. The lesson plan will be flexible for beginners or those with experience. Choose from all of our clays and glazes!

This is a level 1 handbuilding series. Although experience is not required, we recommend taking Intro to Handbuilding first for the best possible outcome. 

January Series: Sets will be ready for use by March (for Nowruz)
