Wheel 2 [Echo Park - 6 Weeks]

Our new 6-week Wheel 2 series at Echo Park is our most exciting new curriculum upgrade!

This level 2 continuation wheel throwing series will introduce helpful new wheel throwing techniques for anyone who's taken at least one wheel throwing series before. This series is beginner friendly, but students should have a basic understanding of centering, pulling walls, trimming and glazing.

Students will learn to throw bigger than 1lb, introduce new forms and shapes, make and attach handles, and discover new surface decorating and glazing techniques including underglazing. We hope to get you thinking more confidently, intentionally and creatively about wheel throwing, as well as working towards throwing independently. 

Option to add studio time:

March - April: Mondays from 3-7 PM

May - June: Tuesdays from 3-7 PM 

For ages 13+. Students aged 13-16 must be accompanied by a guardian. All materials, firing and glazing included to take home pieces. This series is great for someone who wants to be a member.
